Find Pet-friendly Accommodation in Adelaide

Adelaide is bursting with culture, flavours, events and entertainment. The city is also dog mad, hosting dog festivals, record-breaking dog photos, dog-friendly menus and more.

Adelaide has a fascinating colonial heritage; the city was established by free settlers and the early colony was shaped by prosperity and wealth.
Its unique design by Colonel Light means it has the most abundant supply of parks, squares and parklands anywhere in Australia; in fact, the entire CBD is ringed by shaded green parkland your fur-baby will love exploring.
Anstey Hill Recreation Park allows dogs on a lead and their owners to explore the historic ruins of the Newman's Nursery dating back to the early settlement in the area or just enjoy scenic views of Adelaide through the network of trails.
After you’ve worked up an appetite head to City East Markets for lunch. Dogs are encouraged to visit the weekly market and even have dog friendly stalls.
If you’re after something a little more up-market, try the Bacchus Wine Bar in Henley Beach. It has a dedicated “pooch park” with toys, plants and water bowls, and leash clips are also installed in the outdoor seating area.
Finish your day with fish and chips while your watch the sunset at one of the city’s beautiful dog-friendly beaches.
Things to do with your dog in Adelaide:
• Walk through the CBD’s shady parkland
• Explore the Adelaide’s colonial history at Anstey Hill
• Go shopping for gourmet treats at City East Markets
• Enjoy a glass of local red at the Bacchus Wine Bar
• Watch the sunset on one of the city’s dog friendly beaches
• Try some German sausage in the Adelaide Hills
