How do I list my property on Toto?

Listing your property with Toto is simple and quick. Start by signing up for a Toto account; just click on the List Now icon below or the List Your Property icon at the top of the page then enter your details and create your property listing.  To help prevent fraudulent activity, you may be asked to send us verification documents.  Once you've completed the sign-up form and sent your documents, please allow up to two business days for the Toto team to process your listing.

What is Toto's Paw rating system?

"We have designed a ""paw rating"" system making it easier for you to understand just how accommodating the property is with dogs staying, making it much simpler and easier for you to find the perfect fit for you and your pooch. One Paw Property allows pets to stay outside. Can include an off-leash area, secure fenced area, or on-leash at all times. Check pet amenities in property for full details. Two Paws Property allows pets inside and may include additional features such as off-leash area or secure fenced area. Check pet amenities in property for full details. Three Paws Pets are allowed inside and the property offers additional pet-oriented features such as a doggy gift pack or other pet services such as pet minding, pet spa, and grooming services. Check pet amenities in property for full details. Four Paws Property offers the full three Paws experience with pets inside and additional pet amenities and also has multiple guest reviews with an average guest rating of 4 stars or greater. Four paws is the maximum level of pet-friendly accommodation experience available."

Can I choose what type of pets are allowed to stay?

Yes, however, we are a pet-friendly accommodation booking site, so we do encourage you to allow all animals to stay. We do understand it isn't always practical for all pets to stay at all accommodation sites. Therefore, if you exclude any pets from staying at your accommodation, it is imperative you make this clear in the policy section of your listing. To receive the best guest reviews we recommend the guest clearly understands your expectations before booking your accommodation.

Do I have to be pet-friendly to be listed on Toto?

Yes, Toto is 100% pet-friendly, so if you don't allow pets on your property than unfortunately, we will be unable to list your property.

Yes, sometimes is maybe for practical or even the safety of your furry guests that restrictions may need to be in place to ensure everyone has a safe and fun experience. Please make sure you clearly state any restrictions in the policy section of your property listing.

What do I need to provide for a guest’s pet?

This will be dependent on your property's PAW rating. For instance, if your property is a 3 or 4 Paw rating, you will be required to allow the pet inside the accommodation and also provide a puppy pack or service. A Puppy pack may include a doggy bed, bowls, food, toys, doggy shampoo, doggy towels, pet treats etc. A service may be dog sitting for your guests while they explore their surroundings or fenced areas for dogs to run around, perhaps even a doggy playground or hydro baths for your pup to be pampered. At Toto we are here to help so if you are stuck for ideas, please don't hesitate to drop us a line or even join the Toto community to hear what other accommodation providers are offering their furry guests.

What are guest responsibilities for their pet?

Clearly stating your expectations of any visiting pets in your property's policy is recommended. An example of a pet policy: Guest hereby agrees to comply the following: 1. All pets must have up to date vaccinations, worming and flea treatments 2. Guest is responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse. 3. Pet must not cause damage to premises or furnishings. 4. Guest should prevent pets from producing excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors. 5. Pet will not be left unattended for an undue length of time, either indoors or out. 6. Homeowner assumes no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises. The Guest shall be solely responsible for the pet while on the property.

How will Toto verify I have authorisation to list a property?

To help protect you and Toto customers from fraudulent activity you will be required to include verification documents when creating your account and completing your property listing. Please allow up to 2 business days for Team Toto to verify your listing. In order to verify your listing we will require the following verification documentation: For Property Owners: Your photo identification in the form of a passport OR driver's license. A copy of your council rates notice which features your name and the property’s address OR a copy of your signed purchase contract notice which features your name and the property’s address. For Property Manager: Your photo identification in the form of a passport OR driver's license. A copy of the council rates notice which features the property owner’s name and the property’s address OR a copy of your signed purchase contract notice which features the property owner’s name and the property’s address. A signed letter from the property owner stating that you have permission to manage their property. For Agents (for each listing): Your photo identification in the form of a passport OR driver's license. A copy of the official property management agreement. A copy of your agent’s license. For Businesses: Photo identification for the property manager in the form of a passport OR driver's license. A copy of the council rates notice which features the businesses’ name and the property’s address. ASIC documentation showing the relationship of the property manager to the business (must be an office holder, managing director or owner) For Trusts: Photo identification for the property manager in the form of a passport OR driver's license. A puppy profile is an opportunity for a guest to share with the Toto community fun information about their lovable puppy. It is also great for accommodation providers to read a little about your pet that will be joining you at your chosen accommodation. This helps the accommodation provider learn more about your puppy before they welcome you and your pet to their accommodation. A robust Puppy Profile helps others to feel that you are responsible and committed to the spirit of Toto. We recommend including fun information about your pets like and dislikes, describing your pet’s temperament and personality are a great way for others to learn more about your puppy.

Your profile is a great way for guests to learn more about you before they stay at your accommodation. When your profile is robust, it helps others feel that you're responsible, authentic, and committed to the spirit of Toto. We recommend accommodation providers upload a profile photo when they create their listing. A great profile includes: • Image: Please upload a photo that clearly shows your face. This is a great way for the Toto community to learn more about you. Personal or sensitive information is best to leave out of your photo. • Bio: A description of at least 50 words highlighting why you decided to join the Toto community, your interests or hobbies, or anything else you think someone would want to know about you. To view someone's profile, just click their profile photo.

How do reviews work?

All the reviews on Toto are written by accommodation providers and guests from our community. A review is based on the experience after staying at the accommodation provided. You have 14 days after checkout to write a review for a trip.

What is Toto's review policy?

At Toto, we want both guests and accommodation providers the opportunity to share their holiday experiences with the Toto Community. Property reviews from past guests help travellers to be reassured that a property is truly as described and helps them to book with more confidence. Reviews that are left by other guests allow a potential traveller to gain instant trust with the accommodation provider. In addition, accommodation providers want to make sure they can trust their potential guests (human and furry) and are comfortable with them staying in their property, so accommodation providers are able to review guests and their pet that has booked their accommodation. Our two-way review process ensures that all reviews on our site are unbiased and truthfully reflect the experiences.

How and when will I receive payment for a bookings?

Payments for bookings are instant, once the guest payment is approved, the payment will be transferred to your Stripe account instantly. When you created your Stripe account you nominated a bank account, this bank account will receive payments. Payments of your available account balance are made daily and contain payments processed two business days prior. For example, payments received on a Tuesday are paid out by Thursday, and payments received on a Friday are paid out by Tuesday.
